The University Archives house an extensive audiovisual collection, including cassette tapes, audio and film reels, and vinyl records. Due to the obsolescence of playback equipment, many of these items have been inaccessible to staff and researchers.
Here, audiovisual items are being packed into boxes to be sent offsite for digitisation. Once they have been digitised, the files will be reviewed and made accessible online. In the meantime, you can view previously digitised audiovisual items from our collection on Archives-Search!
