This Work Diary for Edmund Blacket’s Architectural Business, dated 1843 to 1897, required extensive conservation as the cover had completely come away from the pages of the notebook and the pages were in four separate bundles. The item was too fragile to issue to researchers.
Here, we unpack and check the item after its conservation by professional conservators. The item has since been digitised and can be viewed on Archives-Search, along with other items from Blacket’s personal papers!
